Description-Yoga, meditation and deep relaxation can help men and women experiencing the challenges of infertility. Fertile Yoga helps couples relax and relaxation can help one make more satisfying decisions, communicate more clearly with their doctor, and sustain treatment with a more positive perspective. What you need: Comfortable, loose fitting clothing, a yoga mat, and bottle of water. This class is FREE & open to the public. You are invited to chat, make new friends, get support, & learn more about PCOS. There will be a brief presentation followed by a light dinner and social time to connect with others with PCOS. Description-Please feel free to join this free, drop-in support group in Norwalk, Mondays 8:00 am-9:00am. Lisa Schuman, LCSW will be available and will be leading this group in the Learning Center at RMACT’s Norwalk office during morning monitoring from 8:00 am-9:00 am. For RMACT patients only.

 

Third Party Reproduction Drop-in Support Group: Norwalk

Description-This group meets the first Tuesday of each month from 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM in our Norwalk Location: 761 Main Avenue Suite 200 Norwalk, CT

This group welcomes patients in all stages of their family building process – from thinking about moving forward using an egg and/or sperm donor to choosing a donor to beginning your cycle and finally, to parenting. Ladies Night In Danbury

Description-This peer support group is free of charge. It is facilitated by Lisa Rosenthal & Carrie Van Steen. Carrie and Lisa are both former fertility patients and offer the support and suggestions many of our patients are looking for and really need. Please RSVP for this FREE group. Lisa Rosenthal

Lisa has over thirty years of experience in the fertility field. After her personal infertility journey, she felt dissatisfied with the lack of comprehensive services available to support her. She was determined to help others undergoing fertility treatment. Lisa has been with RMACT for eleven years and serves as Patient Advocate and the Strategic Content Lead.

Lisa is the teacher and founder of Fertile Yoga, a program designed to support men and women on their quest for their families through gentle movement and meditation.

Lisa’s true passion is supporting patients getting into treatment, being able to stay in treatment and staying whole and complete throughout the process. Lisa is also a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, which is helpful in her work with fertility patients.

Her experience also includes working with RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association and The American Fertility Association (now Path2Parenthood), where she was Educational Coordinator, Conference Director and Assistant Executive Director.
