Today, Tuesday, November 15th, in honor of Diabetes Awareness Month, RMACT (Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut) team members will participate in the American Diabetes Association’s National Healthy Lunch Day.
All four of our conveniently located CT fertility centers are eating together. We organized a fun potluck, healthy lunch with a twist-made fertile friendly. What is fertile friendly? That's what we learned about in the last several weeks so that we could share it together and then share it here with you.
If you're trying to conceive, how important is food? Is there really fertile friendly foods? How important is meal time and portions and choices? Make an appointment with RMACT's Nutritionist Carolyn Gundell, MS. She will discuss the science and art of designing your food plan to maximize your pregnancy success rates.
We all need 3 nutritious meals each day to feel great, increase energy, reduce risk for disease and be as productive as possible. Some of us may skip lunch, grab a quick snack instead, or work while eating. Most of us welcome new recipes and meal planning ideas that are nutritious and full of variety and important nutrients. Today, the RMACT team joined together to promote good nutrition as part of a healthy lifestyle.
RMACT Comes Together for Fertility Friendly Lunch
Today, we each brought a potluck dish, sharing new recipes or foods that might have been unfamiliar. It's how RMACT works, as a team. Carolyn sent out guides to help staff learn more about fertile friendly eating earlier this month and today was our team coming together to break bread. Whole wheat bread that is. At RMACT, we don't just do the talk, we walk your path with you. It starts with us…so today, we made and ate lunch together— a healthy, fertile friendly lunch.
And delicious. Don't forget that- Carolyn does not believe in deprivation or unappealing foods. Look for some recipes over the next several weeks to try at home.
