October is in full bloom, fall colors yes, it’s a big month at RMACT for education, awareness and advocacy.
Fertility Support, Education, Awareness & Advocacy
We’re pink for Breast Cancer, stand up and fight screaming pink and the exquisite and infinite other shades of pink as we remember those loved ones that we’ve lost.
This is the month where we honor Pregnancy and Infant Loss (on October 15th, RMACT team members will be wearing pins to honor the losses of our babies and offering bracelets to you to wear if you so choose).
RMACT through GayParentstoBe, is standing to support our LGBT youth against bullying, also October 15– read the blog on GayParentstoBe on Thursday about how to be part of a community that helps prevent tragedies.
RMACT coverage of PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) continues as well since PCOS does not end because September is over, look for Dr. Joshua Hurwitz’s third and fourth videos on PCOS.
Tonight, Tuesday, October 13, we have a free fertility testing event in Trumbull. Maybe you have a friend who doesn’t have children yet. Share this with her. This is awareness and education about ourselves that can add valuable information as we are planning our lives. The next free fertility testing event will be on Thursday, December 3, 5 p.m. with Spencer Richlin, MD in the RMACT Stamford location, 1290 Summer Street, Suite 3200.
There’s even more that we are offering in the next several weeks at RMACT. Most of our events are free and open to the public. All of the events below are designed to help support people in the process of trying to build their families.
Maybe this is the month you step out of your comfort zone and try a class? Or make a phone call?
Below are some brief explanations for what these events have to offer. Please ask a question if you are intrigued. Remember, these programs are here to support you.
In fact, that’s why we are here. To support you and help you build your family when you are ready. ~ Lisa Rosenthal

The Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) blood test helps doctors determine a woman’s chances of becoming pregnant, now and in the future. If you know that you would like to have a family, even if you are not ready at the moment, this testing can give you information to help you make educated decisions about when to start building a family.
Please do share the event information with friends and family members who could benefit from this type of testing. Today, Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in Trumbull. (The next free fertility testing event will be on Thursday, December 3, 5 p.m. with Spencer Richlin, MD in the RMACT Stamford location, 1290 Summer Street, Suite 3200)
