Fertility Humor FridayI know I should wait. Just like I know I should eat properly. Just like I know I should exercise regularly.

Just like I know I should drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. Just like I know I should avoid the “c” word (chocolate). Just like I know I should stay on top of paying my bills. Just like I know I should floss every day (listen, I brush my teeth every day, what do you want?!). Just like I know I should…. And the list goes on and on. And on. And on.

Here’s a big “I should”- I should wait until Ladies Night In to write the #FourF’s – Effing Funny Fertile Friday.

Why should I wait?

Cause I know who’s coming tonight.

And there will be laughing. And eating. And sharing. And more laughing. And more sharing. And more laughing. And a tear or two. And even more laughing.

So I should wait.

But I don’t want to.

It’s Thursday afternoon and my patience ran out about thirty-five minutes ago, give or take several seconds.

Not bad, really.

I’m not a Monday hater. But it is true that by Thursday afternoon, I have run out of patience. Don’t feel like being politically correct anymore. Don’t want to put a smile in my voice so that I continue to sound pleasant. Don’t want to forgive the 27 people I encountered on the drive down here who need to have their drivers licenses revoked. Don’t want to rationalize why it’s so great that it’s pitch black at 5:15 pm.

No more patience.

And yet, I’m going to facilitate a peer support group tonight– Ladies Night In. Oh, perfect, right? Yes, perfect. Cause I can be myself, the good, the bad and the ugly. Better yet, you can be yourself.

No airs. No strings pulled. No worrying about what anyone else is thinking of you. Nothing politically correct. Plenty of cursing. Down and dirty. And funny. And poignant.

So for today, I’m going to borrow someone else’s funny.

Enjoy these fertility humor e-cards. They made me laugh out loud.

I guarantee though, I’ll be laughing even harder tonight at Ladies Night In.

Good laugh everyone. Good weekend.
