Trusting a Fertility CenterAs a child, I used to play a game with my elementary friends on the playground called “trust fall.” I would deliberately allow myself to fall backwards with the hopes that someone else would catch me.

My arms were crossed over my chest to ensure an extra helpless feeling. The uncertainty of whether or not I would actually be caught never kept my stiff body from tilting backwards and truth be told, my playmates always came through for me. I was never dropped.

In my youth, it was much easier for me to trust. My innocent and developing brain rarely thought about any long term consequences of the decisions I made. I truly lived in the moment. As I gained more life experience and felt metaphorically “dropped” along the way, trusting other people and institutions became more and more difficult. 

Finding Trust in a Fertility Center

Choosing a fertility center to pursue treatment takes a lot of trust. The board certified Reproductive Endocrinologists and all the other supportive team members at RMACT (Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connectcut) take their commitment to each and every patient very seriously.
